Permanent sculpture by Sarah K Williams

As part of the 2024 artist residency, Sarah K Williams developed a sculptural work conceived to remain in the territory. The piece was inaugurated on Friday, August 9, 2024, as the opening of the residency and the starting point for a process of creation and mediation around material, landscape, and memory.

This installation integrates into the environment as a gesture of permanence and care: a work designed to engage with time, weather, and everyday life in the place. The August 9 opening functioned as an inaugural moment and as an invitation to follow the creative process throughout the residency.

At ADAR, residencies connect contemporary creation, documentation, and direct engagement with the territory. This piece is conceived as part of a living archive, and as a meeting point between artistic practice, landscape, and community.
