What is ADAR

Revitalizing rural areas
through the living arts

ADAR transforms villages and small towns into stages for contemporary art, creating bridges between tradition, innovation, and community. We design demanding artistic experiences with careful production, mediation, and audiovisual documentation.

Association for the Development of the Arts in Rural Areas

Founded in 2020 in Leiguarda by Guillermo Laporta and Josefina Urraca. We promote residencies, site-specific concerts, installations, mediation, and audiovisual projects.

Our approach combines a strong local dimension (heritage, landscape, community) with national and European ambition for networks, partnerships, and future calls.
