Concert at the Monastery of San Salvador (Cornellana)
As part of the ADAR Festival 2024 and the millennium commemoration of the Monastery of San Salvador de Cornellana, the festival musicians presented a concert in this historic setting in Salas. The audience surrounded the performers, turning the evening into an intimate experience.
The Monastery of San Salvador de Cornellana, founded in the 11th century and declared a National Monument, was celebrating its millennium with a special cultural programme that included the ADAR Festival.
The stylistic diversity of the repertoire, from classicism to contemporary American music, reflected the festival's commitment to building programmes that engage with the present without abandoning tradition.
