The Whale is a multidisciplinary show that intertwines live music, narration, stage installation and audiovisual creation to bring to life an original legend written by Giulio Tanasini. The story starts from a powerful image: one day, the inhabitants of a valley wake up to find a whale stranded on the top of a mountain. This apparition triggers a series of reactions that lead to a poetic epilogue tinged with magical realism.

Inspired by the silhouette of the mountain of Montserrat, the project seeks to evoke a dreamlike and ritual atmosphere, rescuing the almost mystical function of the medieval minstrel through a contemporary scenic proposal. The result is a sensory journey where the symbolic and the tangible merge, inviting the audience to look at reality from a new height.
