Pianist · Recital piano and chamber music
Mario Molina, born in Soria in 1986, is a pianist. He began his musical studies at the age of nine at the Oreste Camarca Conservatory in Soria and completed his higher degree at the Conservatori Superior de les Illes Balears in 2011 with the highest marks in piano and chamber music. That same year he began a master's in piano in Rotterdam with professor Bart van de Roer. He has attended advanced courses with Francisco José Segovia, Tomeu Jaume and Ricardo Requejo Retegui, among others, and masterclasses with Leonel Morales, Gustavo Díaz Jerez, Daniel del Pino, Lars Vogt and Igor Roma, among others. In 2012 he won the competition of the Lira Numantina Orchestra, performing Beethoven's Concerto No. 3 as a soloist at the Otoño Musical Soriano festival.
