Cellist · Cello and chamber music
Natania Hoffman is an Italian-American cellist, trained at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth under Gary Hoffman, and also at the Eisler School in Berlin, where she completed a master's in chamber music with her Trio Agora under the guidance of Eberhard Feltz and Martin Spangenberg. She plays a cello built by Arthur Frémont (2022). She has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Cincinnati Symphony and the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia, and has toured Europe, the United States, China, New Zealand and India alongside musicians such as Giuliano Carmignola and Augustin Dumay. With Trio Agora she won first prize at the Anton Rubinstein Competition in Düsseldorf (2018) and has released three albums, including Connecting Identities (2020) and Hotel Tango (2023), as well as Resistance with pianist Monika Dars (2024). Since the 2024/25 academic year she has been a chamber music teacher at the Vecchi-Tonelli Conservatory in Modena.
