Closing Visual Concert in Leiguarda (2023)
The third edition of the ADAR Festival closed with an open-air visual concert in the field behind the Church of Leiguarda. The emblematic stage with its yellow frame, which had already starred in the 2021 opening, returned as a symbol of the festival on a night that brought together music, projections, and community.
The field behind the Church of Leiguarda once again welcomed the musicians of the ADAR Festival for the closing concert of the 2023 edition. The stage, framed by the yellow frame that has become a hallmark of the festival, was set against a backdrop of mountains and the illuminated village, while the projections added a visual layer that dialogued with the live music.
The programme, with a distinctly Spanish character thanks to the works of Turina and Granados, alongside pieces by Boulanger, Telemann, and Arvo Pärt, closed an edition that had travelled across five Asturian municipalities, bringing chamber music to heritage sites, museums, chapels, and squares. Leiguarda, the heart of the festival, was once again the place where music and community met in the most intimate way.
