Concert at the Palacio de Miranda-Valdecarzana (Grado, 2023)
Grado consolidated its position as an important venue for the ADAR Festival in its third edition, with several events concentrated in a single day. The Palacio de Miranda-Valdecarzana once again welcomed the festival musicians, this time with a programme focused on Spanish and European chamber music.
For the second consecutive year, the Palacio de Miranda-Valdecarzana opened its doors to the ADAR Festival. On this occasion, Grado became a true festival hub, concentrating into a single day a sound walk at the Palacio Fontela, a micro concert in the Capilla de los Dolores, and the main concert at the palace. Music flooded the town.
This edition's programme took a particularly attentive look at Spanish music, with works by Joaquín Turina and Enrique Granados alongside pieces by Nadia Boulanger, Telemann, and Arvo Pärt. The stylistic diversity of the repertoire, from baroque to contemporary minimalism, confirmed the festival's commitment to offering programmes that are both rigorous and accessible.
