Micro Concert at Susacasa Agrocultural (Gozón)
The ADAR Festival 2025 began its journey at Susacasa Agrocultural, a permaculture space where territory, community, and artistic creation coexist organically. This micro concert took place in one of the hórreos selected in the hórreo and granary contest launched by the festival.
Susacasa, managed by Keko Marcos and Sandra Murillo, proposes an active relationship with the rural environment, integrating ecological, educational, and cultural activities within a large granary adapted for community use. In this context, the hórreo was transformed into an intimate sound space where the audience experienced the music in direct proximity to the performers.
This concert clearly represented one of the core principles of the ADAR Festival: activating Asturian rural heritage as a contemporary performance space. The traditional architecture did not function as a mere container, but as an active part of the artistic experience.
Nacho Laguna and María del Buey presented a selection from the album Ferrarese – tiorba (2023), combining Iberian Baroque repertoire with contemporary improvisation in a dialogue between tradition and innovation perfectly integrated into the landscape and the space.
