Visual concert in Colunga (Sala Loreto)

In the third edition of the ADAR Festival, Colunga offered a very different venue from the previous year. The Sala Loreto allowed an immersive projection design that completely surrounded the musicians, immersing the audience in a unique visual and sonic experience.

Following the 2022 concert at the Church of Santa María de Sábada, the ADAR Festival returned to Colunga with a renewed format. The Sala Loreto, with walls that allowed an immersive 360-degree projection, became the ideal setting for a visual concert in which music and image merged inseparably.

The programme, centred on Spanish music with works by Turina and Granados alongside pieces by Boulanger, Telemann, and Arvo Pärt, was enriched by a projection design that accompanied each work with its own visual universe. The audience experienced the sensation of images overlapping with the performers, creating an atmosphere of total immersion.

Programme

Nadia Boulanger – Modéré
Georg Philipp Telemann – Quartet in G minor, TWV 43:G4
Joaquín Turina – Piano Quartet in A minor, op. 67
Enrique Granados – Quintet for piano, flute and strings in G minor, op. 49
Arvo Pärt – Spiegel im Spiegel
